**Assistant Project Manager**:
**Your mission**:
The DHLAB is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to assist with the coordination activities and administrative duties of a project funded by the SNSF.

**About the project**:
"impresso - Media Monitoring of the Past II" is an interdisciplinary research project that aims to develop new approaches to the joint exploration of newspaper and radio archive content across time, language and national borders. The project is carried out by the EPFL DHLAB, the Department of Computational Linguistics of the University of Zurich, the Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C2DH) of the Luxembourg University and the History Department of the University of Lausanne, with the additional support of 21 European partners.

**Mission**:
The post holder will assist in the general administration of the project and will support internal and external communication. S/he will help with tasks related to the planning, monitoring and implementation of administrative, financial, organisational and communication activities.

**Main duties and responsibilities include**:

- Support communication and interaction with project partners;
- Monitor budget and manage invoices;
- Manage collaboration agreements with project partners;
- Manage the organisation and logistics of project events (workshops, conferences, webinars, about 2 per year).
- Assist in the management of project documentation and reports;
- Contribute to external communication activities (newsletter, website, social media)
- Assist with management of questions/concerns throughout the project.

**Your profile**:

- Previous experience as an assistant project manager or similar role;
- Strong communication and writing skills in English;
- Organised, able to multi-task and to work both independently and as part of a team;
- Comfortable using collaborative working tools such as Google Drive and Slack.
- Comfortable working in an international and multicultural context;
- Experience of the SNSF is an advantage;
- Curiosity for media and history is a plus.
