**Introduction**:

**Presentation**:
The Agripath project aims to bring sustainable agriculture to scale via digital communication technologies. A research team at the University of Lausanne is designing and implementing programs together with local partners in India, Nepal, Tanzania, Uganda, and Burkina Faso. The team applies a combination of scientific and interpretive methods to critically assess the value that conventional and digital programs provide to farmers, drawing on theories from economics, sociology, and political science. At present, the focus is on analyzing results from a study in Madhya Pradesh (India), and on the preparation of projects in Nepal.

Expected start date in position : 01.05.2024 / to be agreed

Activity rate :.20-40%

**Salary**: According to legal stipulations here

**Your responsibilities**:
The research assistant will support a post-doctoral researcher and a PhD student at UNIL with the preparation of studies and research outputs. The focus of the assistant on tasks within the project may be negotiable based on their research interests.

Specific tasks include:

- Scoping review of relevant literature
- Qualitative and quantitative data analysis
- Coordination with research partners
- (Optional) Writing and publication of research outputs

**Your qualifications**:

- Knowledgeable in quantitative methods for social sciences
- Enrolled in an MA program at a Swiss university.
- Experience in administrative support/project management
- Fluent in English
- Research experience in the development sector
- Experience in development economics and/or behavioral economics
- Experience in qualitative methods for social sciences
