About the team

As a Capacity Planning Intern at Philip Morris International, you'll have the opportunity to play a vital part in optimizing our global laboratories' capacity, ensuring the timely delivery of critical projects. We're seeking a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses exceptional problem-solving abilities, and is passionate about optimizing processes. - Dive deep into our laboratory operations, evaluating capacity limitations and synthesizing complex information into practical recommendations.
- Identify potential bottlenecks that hinder project delivery timelines and lead creative initiatives to overcome them.
- Collaborate closely with our technical teams to support the design and implementation of an advanced capacity planning tool. This tool will leverage the capacities and capabilities of both internal and external laboratories
- Analyze processes for resource allocation and lead time reduction, establishing robust processes that ensure proper resource allocation across our laboratories.
- Actively participate in the development and execution of our capacity planning strategy. Identify opportunities for process enhancements, take the lead on improvement initiatives, and provide insightful recommendations and tailor-made solutions.

Qualifications:

- Available from February to September 2024
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis using statistical software (e.g., Power Query, Python, Excel VBA) to derive meaningful insights.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at various levels in the organization. French is a plus.
- Proactive and driven mindset, with a passion for taking on challenges and finding innovative solutions.
