Supplier Quality Engineer

- You develop and implement a global strategy to improve supplier quality in the global supply chain in close coordination with our worldwide locations, especially the USA
- As well you develop and implement strategic supplier development programs
- The optimization and development of production processes at suppliers on site to jointly provide framework data for contract negotiations with suppliers to the Supplier Quality Managers is also part of your tasks
- You coordinate quality problems and the measurement methods to be used with the suppliers
- You analyze 8D reports from supplier complaints
- You moderate quality circles and carry out process audits at suppliers
Your Talents
- Completed university degree in mechanical engineering, production engineering or technical training with extended professional experience or further training as a master craftsman/technician desirable
- Several years of professional experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer, alternatively as a production engineer or in a comparable position required
- Knowledge of SAP MM (material management) Preferably engineering studies (mechanical engineering, medical technology, etc.) or technical training with several years of professional experience
- Very good knowledge of methods (8D, FMEA, Six Sigma etc.)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Conscientious, independent and autonomous work in a team
- Good analytical skills and a structured way of working
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
