Packaging Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Engineer to join our team at Cilag AG, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Switzerland. As a Packaging Engineer, you will be responsible for leading packaging engineering projects, developing and qualifying packaging components, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Lead packaging engineering projects, including development and qualification of packaging components
• Develop and maintain technical specifications for secondary and tertiary packaging materials
• Qualify supplier packaging material, including initiated changes
• Support and lead continuous improvement projects, such as OEE improvement, non-conformance trouble-shooting, and vendor collaboration
• Participate in internal and external audits, including GMP, EHS, and FM

• Master or Bachelor degree in Engineering, preferably Packaging Engineering or Packaging Technology
• A minimum of 2 years of related business experience in packaging engineering
• Excellent organization and communication skills, with the ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
• Strong collaborative skills in global teams and local project teams
• Drive to continuously improve and challenge the status quo, with critical problem-solving and root cause problem-solving skills
• Self-driven, well-organized, and able to set own targets
• Decisiveness, brainpower, and ability to take care of various issues and projects simultaneously

Fluency (oral and written) in German, with good communication skills in English
