To support our Systems Engineering team we are looking for our offices in Yverdon-les-Bains for a:

Validation Engineer

Purpose:

The Validation Engineer will be responsible for designing, executing, and managing the validation activities for Leclanche products. This includes developing and executing test plans -sometimes with our clients, analysing test results and documenting all activities. The Validation Engineer will work closely with other engineers for internal verification tests and test specimen fabrication, Leclanche clients, test labs and various departments to ensure that all products meet the stringent needs of applicable standards and customer requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute validation test plans, in collaboration with stakeholders, to ensure that Leclanché battery products meet customer and industry standard requirements.
  • Negotiate validation technical and commercial conditions with external labs and in collaboration with purchasing department.
  • Provide support for validation testing activities, internally and externally.
  • Support sales with pricing of validation activities
  • Perform data analysis and generate test reports to communicate results to management, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage the validation process internally and with laboratories from start to end, including planning, execution, and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with other engineers to ensure that all validation activities are integrated into the overall product development process.
  • Interface with external customers to ensure that all validation specifications and activities meet their requirements and reasonable expectations.
  • Interface and manage relationship with the product certification entities and insure internal self-certification.
  • Continuously improve the validation process by implementing best practices, tools, and methods.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical or similar field.
  • At least 5 years experience in validation testing in an industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC 62928, EN50155 EN 45545, ISO 17025, ECE R-100, DNV etc.).
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Languages:

English is a must.

French or German are a plus.
