IT/OT Solution Engineer Join to apply for the IT/OT Solution Engineer role at CTE - ControlTech Engineering AG. We are a leading engineering company based in Northwestern Switzerland and have completed more than 8,000 projects over 30 years for clients in pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, food, beverage, mechanical engineering, energy & environment and transportation & logistics sectors. Industry 4.0, IoT, cloud, security or digitalisation – the fusion of IT and OT is progressing and with us, you are right in the middle of it. We develop system landscapes and big data solutions that meet future digitalisation requirements and high IT security demands. Your duties Planning and implementation of challenging IT projects in the industrial environment of OT (Operational Technologies) Creating concepts and implementing system landscapes that also meet future digitalisation requirements Developing big data solutions to collect, analyse and process production data for dissemination Creating business analyses, carrying out requirements engineering, computer system validation and interface engineering to automation and ERP systems Our system environment MES systems from Siemens, Emerson, Rockwell, Werum or custom MES systems PIMS systems such as AVEVA PI, GeFanuc Historian, VIDEC Acron Production reports/dashboarding with product‑specific and generic reporting tools and business intelligence applications Connections to various SCADA and control systems Communication interfaces to ERP systems Your profile At least an FH degree in computer science, business informatics, engineering or equivalent training Good understanding of processes in the pharmaceutical, food and chemical sectors Experience in MES systems or similar applications in the integration layer and in OT projects with regard to horizontal and vertical communication in production networks Confident handling of MS Office and IT systems Very good written and spoken German and good English skills Precise, independent and structured way of working, as well as a solution‑oriented approach Ability to coordinate, work under pressure and in a team High level of personal responsibility Competent and professional appearance We offer A permanent 100% position starting immediately or by agreement Participation in interesting projects involving complex, challenging and varied work in the field of automation from concept to commissioning Extensive training and further education opportunities Advanced working conditions with flexible working hours and above‑average social benefits A pleasant, open and collegial working environment in which everyone can make a personal contribution Open communication policy with short decision‑making paths and a flat hierarchy Recognition, appreciation and a friendly team spirit that is regularly and proactively promoted through dedicated events About The Company ControlTech Engineering AG (CTE) is one of the leading engineering companies in the Northwestern Switzerland region and offers innovative complete solutions for automation and industrial IT (OT).
