For over 35 years, we have been implementing exciting projects for clients in the pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, food, beverage, mechanical engineering, energy & environment and transportation & logistics sectors - with more than 8,000 successful projects to date Administration and further development of our internal IT infrastructure Support, expansion and optimization of existing systems and structures Evaluation and introduction of new hardware and software solutions Virtualization with VMware, Hyper‑V and Proxmox Planning, support and implementation of diverse IT projects (including servers, virtualization, Exchange, O365, Azure, networks, backup solutions, security, identity management, ticketing) Collaboration in the preparation for ISO 27001 certification Willingness to participate in customer projects if required Operating systems: predominantly Microsoft, supplemented by Linux Virtualization with VMware, Hyper‑V and Proxmox Infrastructure monitoring, central network/firewall management, (I)IDS Backup and disaster recovery systems, cloud services Ticketing with Jira Service Management Your profile Training as a computer scientist EFZ (systems engineering or business informatics) Several years of experience in the administration of IT infrastructures Network Firewall Backup Microsoft Server & Services Active Directory GPO Virtualization Very good knowledge of German (spoken & written), good knowledge of English Precise, independent and structured way of working Solution-oriented thinking and a high level of personal responsibility Team player, resilient and well organized Professional demeanor and enjoyment of collaboration We offer Permanent 100% position with immediate effect or by arrangement Complex, varied tasks at the interface of OT, IT and automation Flat hierarchies, a culture of "you" and open interaction Family environment with many joint events Individual training and development opportunities Meaningful work in exciting projects and different industries About the company: ControlTech Engineering AG (CTE) is one of the leading engineering companies in the Northwestern Switzerland region and offers innovative complete solutions for automation and industrial IT (OT).
