Sign.com is an exciting new venture from Smallpdf, a Zurich-based grown-up that bootstrapped its way into one of the most popular PDF tools in the world and most visited websites globally with a team of over > 100 people from 34 nationalities in offices in Zurich, Belgrade, and Barcelona.

We launched Sign.com as a startup because we believe the world is ready for a better e-signing solution, ensuring small business owners are able to protect their growing businesses by giving them the tools to track and manage their contracts.

Objective of the role

As a co-founder and General Manager for Sign.com, your primary objective is to pioneer all necessary initiatives to establish a viable business in a competitive market. You will be the leader of the business, hence the role demands a blend of strong product mindset, creativity, strategic insight, and relentless drive to conceptualize, test, and implement effective market entry strategies.

ResponsibilitiesStrategic Product Development:
  1. Guide the team to develop and refine a compelling base product that resonates with target customers, surpassing competing solutions.
  2. Strategize product positioning and differentiation.
  3. Implement Product-Led Growth (PLG) initiatives to foster virality and expand the user base.
  4. Utilize data insights to drive continuous growth and enhance user retention.
  5. Innovate monetization strategies while prioritizing user acquisition and growth.
Strategic Distribution:
  1. Collaborate with the Growth Lead to devise innovative and cost-effective growth strategies, potentially exploring partnerships and sales channels.
  2. Manage budgets and maintain a keen focus on unit economics to ensure sustainable growth.
  3. Motivate and guide the team to achieve peak performance.
  4. Empower team members with the necessary tools and resources to make informed decisions.
  5. Recruit and retain top-tier talent to drive the company's mission forward.
  6. Maintain alignment with the Smallpdf team and leadership.
Strategic Planning:
  1. Address critical strategic questions and make informed decisions regarding testing, scaling, partnerships, funding, and customer relationships.
  2. Ensure strategic initiatives are executed at the optimal juncture for maximum impact.
What you bring
  1. Minimum 5 years of overall work experience.
  2. At least 3 years of experience in Product Management within the SaaS or data-driven industry (not solely B2B sales SaaS).
  3. Demonstrated experience in team leadership or management.
  4. Proven track record of driving growth and success in challenging market environments.
