Graduate LLM Engineer

We are currently seeking an ambitious, forward-thinking Graduate LLM Engineer to join our international team based in Switzerland and Belgium. You are a recent graduate with a strong background in NLP, computer science, or a related field, and a keen interest in applying your skills to create solutions for diverse industries. You're detail-oriented, highly motivated, and have a strong desire to grow within the field of AI. You enjoy working in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment, and you have exceptional communication skills, enabling you to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as clients.

As an LLM Engineer at Effixis, you will be an integral part of our core AI team. Key responsibilities include:

1. Conducting research and development in NLP and machine learning algorithms.
2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate your findings into innovative solutions for our products and client applications.
3. Producing high-quality code and contributing to our machine learning platform.
4. Staying updated with the latest advancements in NLP and AI research, and implementing novel approaches to enhance our systems and offerings.
5. Interacting with clients to understand their needs and frame tailored AI and NLP solutions that deliver value.
6. Participating in the design and review of AI models and experiments, ensuring the quality and integrity of our systems.

1. A recent graduate degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science or a related field with a focus on NLP.
2. Experience with state-of-the-art LLM techniques.
3. Experience with LLMs related tools and APIs (OpenAI, Cohere, Hugging Face, etc.)
4. Proficiency in Python and experience with software development best practices.
5. Open-source track record of your contributions.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a meticulous attention to detail.
7. Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members alike.
8. You've had a first experience working in the industry.
