Senior Front-End Engineer for Swiss company

Responsibilities
  • Work with the product and design team to deliver valuable features to our users in the form of both prototypes and production features.
  • Collaborate with the backend and machine learning engineers to implement features end-to-end.
  • Leverage technologies such as Tailwind CSS to develop a clean custom UI.
  • Automatic UI testing.
  • UX improvements (e.g. reducing client bundle size, strategic lazy loading, etc.)
Required
  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related field and at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in the industry.
  • Solid understanding of modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Industry experience with leading front-end frameworks such as Vue.js (preferred) or React.
Preferred/Bonus
  • Experience with container and container orchestration technology such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Experience in working with multiple API styles such as REST, GraphQL, gRPC, etc.
  • Interest in machine learning, data science, and LLMs.
