We are looking for a finance lead to manage a team of more than 20 FTE direct and indirect reports in the following locations: Greenwood, Puebla, Bornem, Colmar, Rewari, Suzhou, Nansha, Sagamihara, and Jakarta, covering all modalities (Capsules, DFS, Ingredients) in CHI.
The candidate must demonstrate an operational mindset as the role involves interacting daily with site leadership across the network and global operations; identifying efficiency improvements; performing modeling work and benchmarking to support the productivity of the operational network; understanding the value and background of operational initiatives & investments; and preparing clear ad-hoc reports for Executive Committee members, divisional and RBU leadership teams.
The role requires a ‘design and build’ expertise and a strongoperational background to develop the relevant processes and approaches to the controlling capability across the global operations network.
The finance lead will also be responsible for implementing the governance mechanisms across all sites and working very closely with all members of the Operations Leadership Team to define, implement, and adjust new processes for Operations as well as for the BUs.
Steering Partner – To discuss, debate, challenge and jointly set with the Operations and Division Leadership Teams, the strategic trajectory across the BUs.
Business Partner – Analysis and decision support in the areas of efficiency, financial analysis for production, supply contracts, modeling, project evaluations, costing, performance measures, and strategic planning.
Financial planning/reporting – Responsible for the development and submission of financial & business plans for the sites and network, including all required actual and plan reporting, analyses, and metrics such as long-term planning (BSR), annual budget, outlooks and forecasts, monthly closing reporting, variance, and analysis reporting.
Investment planning – Supports CAPEX evaluations and local execution of the programs, due diligence, and business integration.
Team Management - Lead and coach all the CHI site controllers across 8 sites and 3 continents.
Compliance - Shares global responsibility for Division & RBU financial and management accounting per IFRS, the Lonza Finance Accounting Manual (FAM), the Lonza Management Accounting Manual (MAM), and other required accounting principles.
