We are looking for a Paralegal for our client, a Life sciences company. As a Paralegal, you will play a key role in providing legal support across various aspects (drafting and managing contracts, IP, implementation of IT tools etc.).

A dynamic Life sciences company based in the Canton of Vaud.

Description

  • Reviewing a range of contracts related to clinical trials, including service agreements, consultancy agreements, confidentiality agreements, and more.
  • Supporting legal department projects outside the clinical trials scope, including IT tool implementation, legal presentations, and intellectual property (IP) matters, where experience in IP would be a plus.
  • Assisting with the preparation, review, and negotiation of agreements, particularly confidentiality agreements, consultancy agreements, services agreements, material transfer agreements, and amendments, all under the supervision of in-house legal counsel.
  • Participating in internal meetings and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including third-party partners and outside counsel as required.
  • Managing various administrative duties such as contract signatures, filing, and maintaining document trackers.

Profile

  • You hold a Law degree (Paralegal, Bachelor, or equivalent) with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in contract drafting and negotiation.
  • You are fluent in both English and French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills (minimum C1 level).
  • Prior experience in the Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical sector is a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with intellectual property matters is an added benefit.
  • You thrive in a collaborative, international work environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Highly organised and adept at managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
