About the Job Based at Mandarin Oriental, Geneva, within the FLHSS Department, the FLHSS&E Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the FLHSS&E Manager in ensuring the safety of the establishment's staff and customers. The FLHSS Assistant Manager reports directly to the FLHSS Manager. As FLHSS&E Assistant Manager, here is a non-exhaustive list of tasks related to the responsibilities of the position: SECURITY Ensure the safety of property and people by enforcing hotel regulations and strictly complying with the law. Coordinate and manage contracts for security guards who work night shifts (external company). Coordinate external companies that perform maintenance on security systems. Manage hotel access for all suppliers. Perform regular building patrols. Ensure security for certain events. LIFE, HEALTH & SAFETY Ensure the proper use of collective and individual protective equipment. Comply with and enforce health, safety and welfare rules (knowledge of procedures, emergency exits). Check the use of various ‘hazardous’ products within the hotel. Apply, coordinate and enforce OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) rules. Manage service providers responsible for water analysis and food sampling. As FLHSS&E Assistant Manager, we expect from you: Proven experience in security within a luxury hospitality environment. Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.
