Product Conformity Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the company's products comply with CE, REACH, RoHS, and other applicable regulations and standards.
2. Manage the preparation, submission and maintenance of conformity related documentation and drive certification processes for regulatory compliance.
3. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential compliance issues.
4. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the compliance program.
5. Work closely with R&D, Quality, production and other departments to ensure compliance is integrated into all stages of the product development and production.
6. Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on regulatory requirements and best practices.

YOUR PROFILE:

1. Successfully completed degree in mechanical, electrical, process engineering or similar.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in conformity management, preferably in the process automation industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of CE marking, REACH, RoHS and other relevant regulations and standards, for example including 2006/42/EU, EN ISO 12100, EN 60204.
4. Knowledge of the marine industry and experience in PED 20014/68/EU, EN ISO 13849, EN ISO 13850 and 2014/30/EU is an advantage.
5. Good command of English spoken and written; German is a plus.
6. Goal driven, flexible and independent way of working.
7. Ability to work in an international company and global team.
