Product Conformity Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Ensure the company's products comply with CE, REACH, RoHS, and other applicable regulations and standards.
- Manage the preparation, submission and maintenance of conformity related documentation and drive certification processes for regulatory compliance.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential compliance issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the compliance program.
- Work closely with R&D, Quality, production and other departments to ensure compliance is integrated into all stages of the product development and production.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on regulatory requirements and best practices.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Successfully completed degree in mechanical, electrical, process engineering or similar.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in conformity management, preferably in the process automation industry.
- In-depth knowledge of CE marking, REACH, RoHS and other relevant regulations and standards, for example including 2006/42/EU, EN ISO 12100, EN 60204.
- Knowledge of the marine industry and experience in PED 20014/68/EU, EN ISO 13849, EN ISO 13850 and 2014/30/EU is an advantage.
- Good command of English spoken and written; German is a plus.
- Goal driven, flexible and independent way of working.
- Ability to work in an international company and global team.
