Hug Engineering AG is seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer - Exhaust Systems to join our global design team.

About the Role:

  • Create complete engineering designs for new and existing exhaust aftertreatment products, translating concepts into CAD models.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation in PDM/ERP systems.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in sales and project management across subsidiaries.
  • Pursue cost optimization projects and improve producibility through supplier visits.
  • Support training within the global engineering team.

Your Qualifications:

  • CAD Designer education, preferably 0-5 years since completing apprenticeship.
  • Experience in design and product development environments.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal, steel, and welding fabrication processes.
  • Familiarity with design standards and guidelines, including CAD tools like Autodesk Inventor.
  • Independent work style, confident communication skills in English and German, and a positive attitude towards teamwork.

Salary Estimate: Based on industry standards and market conditions, we expect the salary for this position to be around $80,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience.
