IT Project Manager – Fund Operations Responsibilities Manage and run the fund manager’s portfolio projects, overseeing global initiatives and budget responsibilities through meetings and workshops. Lead end‑to‑end projects to ensure scope and timely completion. Define business and solution architecture, project requirements, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Act as the main contact person and coordinator; develop, implement, and test the fund manager’s business processes prior to launch. Develop, implement, and test business processes that follow the target operating model before going live. Support implementation initiatives. Document business designs and specifications. Create reports and management tools based on the fund manager’s key business processes. Continuously review, analyze, and optimize fund management processes. Ensure open and regular communication with all project participants and manage the prioritization of requirements. Manage and supervise external IT providers and project development. Handle ad‑hoc projects as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s with a focus on IT, Business Informatics, or Engineering. Project management certification required (e.g., CAS, PMP, AgilePM, CSM). Project management experience in the fund industry, gained at a bank, fund management company, or consultancy firm. Interest in project management methodology and practical pragmatism. Experience in project management and change management. Ability to moderate discussions between business and technology teams and explain complex issues clearly and concisely. Well‑structured analytical personality, independent and hands‑on. Self‑starter, networker with a passion for project management. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Strong leadership skills. Proficiency in German and English.
