Inspector General – UNHCR Overview The Inspector General reports directly to the High Commissioner and submits an annual report to UNHCR’s Executive Committee. He or she is the highest authority in the Agency on oversight matters, responsible for investigations, inquiries and for maintaining the independence of the Inspector General’s Office (IGO). Responsibilities Provide strategic vision and leadership, establishing and meeting the objectives of the IGO in alignment with operational and strategic plans; advise the High Commissioner, the Senior Executive Team and senior management on risk and oversight matters; perform research and analysis to identify and report on strategic and reputational risks; assist management in strengthening governance and oversight; manage IGO personnel, promote best practices, and provide technical guidance; establish and maintain a quality‑assurance program; deliver reports and presentations to internal and external stakeholders; collect and analyse information on oversight activities and communicate significant gaps; collaborate and share best practice with internal and external oversight entities; ensure investigations and inquiries are conducted professionally and timely; inform complainants, witnesses and subjects of investigative procedures; lead risk assessments and discussions, integrate risk‑management principles into decision‑making; allocate resources for planned treatments; maintain an updated risk register; perform other related duties as required. Qualifications Minimum 18 years of relevant experience for an Undergraduate degree; 17 years for a Graduate degree; or 16 years for a Doctorate. Proven experience in senior management positions involving auditing, investigation, risk management, internal controls and governance; strategic vision to drive oversight reforms; advanced knowledge of audit and investigative processes, international standards and evolving best practices; demonstrated leadership and inclusive collaboration; excellent judgement, analytical and problem‑solving skills; strong communication and interpersonal skills; experience with UN or other field operations; excellent work ethic and ability to work under pressure; language proficiency in French (required). UNDP Internship – Human Resources Management Overview The internship supports the HRM team in recruitment and performance management initiatives. The role is under the direction of the HR Specialist, Team Lead HRM, and is based in Geneva. Responsibilities Assist in designing communication strategies for talent acquisition; conduct outreach and sourcing for staff vacancies; support the recruitment selection process including invitation to assessments, eligibility review, administration of written assessments, drafting interview assessment reports, and organising onboarding logistics; maintain shared drive organization; participate in weekly unit meetings; prepare presentations and staff announcements; provide administrative support to performance management; assist with other projects as needed. Qualifications Enrollment in a postgraduate degree programme or final undergraduate year; recent graduation within the last year; experience in planning, administrative document management, or HR/recruitment is a strong asset; proficiency in English; knowledge of another official UN language is an asset. UNICEF Internship – Audience and Market Insights Overview The internship supports media analysis projects for UNICEF’s Market Research division. The role is remote, full‑time, and lasts 26 weeks starting 17 November 2025. Responsibilities Onboard with UNICEF and the Division of Private Fundraising; learn media crawling tools; conduct media trend analyses based on guidance; audit existing research; prepare insights summaries, reports, and PowerPoint presentations; maintain data libraries, dashboards, and taxonomies; synthesize findings into actionable insights; support ad‑hoc data analysis, visualisation and benchmarking; identify recurring insights and propose taxonomy improvements. Qualifications Undergraduate, graduate or Ph.D. in Communications, Marketing, Data/Social Sciences or related field; at least 18 years old; proficient in English (additional languages are an asset); excellent academic performance; strong writing, slide‑creation and critical‑thinking skills; familiar with Boolean search and tools such as TalkWalker; remote‑work capability; commitment to UNICEF’s core values of Care, Respect, Integrity, Trust, Accountability and Sustainability.
