Do you enjoy leading complex financial close cycles and orchestrating cross‑functional teams? Then the role of Financial Close Manager might be a great fit for you Our client, who operates in the reinsurance and broader financial services industry, is looking for an expert to support them in the area of financial close operations and end‑to‑end process coordination. This is a hands‑on Financial Close Manager position, focused on planning, coordinating, and executing the end‑to‑end financial close process across a complex, multi‑entity environment. The day‑to‑day work is operational, dealing with close execution, issue resolution, stakeholder management, and process improvements. The company is undergoing a large migration from mainframe to modern cloud infrastructure and needs support to maintain business‑as‑usual close operations. As a Financial Close Manager, you will provide expertise in the domain of financial closing, operational governance, and controlled reporting processes. Setting: As part of the team, you will be focused on delivering the best possible outcomes in closing execution, planning, and continuous process improvement across Finance, IT, and Operations. Focus: Leading and coordinating the financial close calendar Managing cross‑functional dependencies and driving issue resolution Ensuring compliance with close controls and governance standards Driving improvements to reduce manual effort and shorten operational timelines Background: To be successful in this role, prior experience in financial close operations, large financial institutions, SAP environments, and governed reporting processes is required. Duration: This is an initial 12‑month contract, with a strong possibility of extension.
