Senior Advisor «Netzwerk- und Advocacy» 70-100 %

Dein Aufgabenbereich umfasst:

  • Strategische und operative Weiterentwicklung des Netzwerks: Du koordinierst und entwickelst unser weltweites Netzwerk weiter, indem Du Anlässe und Lernprozesse organisierst, die das Netzwerk stärken und sichtbarer machen. Du begleitest Feminist Peace Initiatives und unterstützt dabei, ihre Wirkung zu entfalten.
  • Netzwerk-Strategien und Methoden: Du konzipierst Strategien und Methoden, die unser Netzwerk als Werkzeug feministischer Friedensarbeit stärken.
  • Analyse und Advocacy-Strategien: Du analysierst nationale und internationale politische Entwicklungen und setzt Advocacy-Strategien um, die auf lokaler, regionaler und internationaler Ebene Wirkung zeigen.

Dein Profil:

  • Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation und bringst mindestens 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung im internationalen Advocacy-Bereich mit – idealerweise in einem feministischen oder friedenspolitischen Kontext.
  • Du bist kommunikativ, integrativ und denkst strategisch. Du arbeitest proaktiv, gehst Herausforderungen lösungsorientiert an und identifizierst Dich mit feministischen Werten und den Zielen von PWAG.
  • Du bist bestens vernetzt in den Themenfeldern Women, Peace and Security und kennst die aktuellen politischen Debatten. Du bist sicher im Umgang mit politischen Interessen und kannst diese für eine wirkungsvolle Interessensvertretung nutzen.
  • Du bringst starke schriftliche und mündliche Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Englisch mit; Kenntnisse in Deutsch und Französisch sind von Vorteil.
  • Du verfügst über interkulturelle Kompetenz, Teamgeist und Humor.

Wir bieten eine stimulierende und sinnvolle Aufgabe in einem kleinen, motivierten Team in Bern, Flexibilität (1-2 Tage Homeoffice) und ein Lohnband von CHF 92’000-102'000 (100%).

Your areas of responsibility include:

  • Strategic and operational development of the Network: You will lead the coordination and further development of PWAG's global network, including organizing events and learning processes to strengthen its visibility. You will also support Feminist Peace Initiatives, empowering them to maximize their impact.
  • Network strategies and methods: You will conceptualize and implement strategies and methodologies that enhance our network as a tool for feminist peacebuilding.
  • Analysis and advocacy: You will analyze national and international policy developments and design, implement, and monitor impactful advocacy strategies at local, regional, and global levels.

Your profile:

  • You hold a university degree or equivalent qualification and have at least 10 years of professional experience in international advocacy or peacebuilding, ideally within a feminist or human rights context.
  • You are a strategic thinker with a proactive and inclusive approach to work. You are passionate about feminist values and PWAG's vision and mission.
  • You have strong networking skills and are well-versed in the Women, Peace, and Security agenda. You are confident in navigating political processes and leveraging them for advocacy.
  • You communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken; additional proficiency in German or French is an asset.
  • You bring intercultural competence, teamwork skills, and a good sense of humour to your work environment.

We offer a stimulating and meaningful position in a small, motivated team in Bern, flexibility (1-2 days working from home) and a salary range of CHF 92,000-102,000 (100%).
