Your Role

Amaris Consulting is hiring We are looking for a** RFID Network Administrator** for an opportunity in Bern.

Your Role:
As the RFID Network Administrator you will manage the full GMS RFID network, including:

- Management of the customized IoT solution and its management software
- Coordinate communications and performance with relevant stakeholders (software developers, customers, hardware providers)
- Identify, define and prioritize requirements according to the business needs
- Plan and follow-up development activities with the team and partners
- Manage and evaluate deliverables: organise Quality Assurance & tests in order to decide if deliverables can be accepted or require some rectifications
- Implement software upgrades and repairs as needed, and troubleshoot problems with the system
- Support activities related with optimize and stabilization of the network when required
- Support on the installation of new assets
- Network stabilization (testing/quality assurance) and implementation of software upgrades
- Onboard new users of the network, including assessment of the local network and coordination of implementation with users from different countries and cultures, providing timely feedback on progress
- Train users on hardware and software, including preventive maintenance activities
- Collect and analyze data to optimize performance
- Oversee digital security
- Report to expert team to ensure network operability and integrity with the various GMS products
- Support ongoing improvements and initiatives with a view to implementing best practices for effective management of the GMS RFID network

Your Profile:

- First-level university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) or advanced university degree (Master or equivalent) in information technology, computer science or a related field of study
- At least three years of experience of working with IoT platforms, preferably AWS IoT
- At least three years of experience of managing software development projects in a technological and/or logistics environment
- Understanding of software development and system architectures
- Understanding of RFID technology
- AWS certification would be an advantage
- Fluent in English
