For our client, a dynamic and multinational company in the building materials industry, located in the canton of Bern in Switzerland, we are looking for a:
**CO2 Innovation Advisor (M/F/d)**:

**Your tasks in this position**:

- Define which technologies will suit the best for our client’s operations in terms of Capture, and Utilization, revisit the storage potential in the world for CO2
- Develop and coordinate a network of CO2 experts among the operations and provide insight and lead for future decarbonization
- Search for non-mapped technologies for CCUS
- Study the operations case by case to find the best solutions for each specific case
- Define the barriers (technical, operational, mindset, status quo, CAPEX, OPEX), that our client’s company must face to decarbonize their operations
- Build our client’s operations CO2 Technology agenda to bring all the technologies under the same umbrella, the ones mapped and to be mapped.
- Define technological pathway for our client’s operations decarbonization
- Evaluate CO2 technologies for integration into the production process
- Review and define utilization systems for CO2 captured
- Change the current mindset of our client’s operations in terms of how they look at CO2 emissions.
- Maintain & evolve an internal networking with Sustainability, Ventures and Operations
- Achieve peers recognition in the field to be able to articulate the network
- Find the right technologies for each operation according to their geographical context
- Bring our client a clearer picture in terms of how a decarbonized operation should be.

**Requirements**:

- You have previous working experience in Sustainability consulting and implementation projects along the value chain (5+ years)
- Relevant knowledge of environmental sustainability challenges in multinational companies
- University degree, ideally at a Master’s level in a sustainability related field, Environmental Sciences, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science
- Project management skills, from both a technical and administrative standpoint, and proven ability to collaborate in a multi-stakeholder and multi-geographies context.
- Advanced stakeholder and client management skills.
- Demonstrable commercial skills and good business sense
- Diligent, reliable, proactive and self-sufficient but collaborative approach to work.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced international environment.
- Advanced prioritisation and time management skills.
- You enjoy working closely in a team and in contact with various stakeholders around the globe
- You are a self-confident communicator in English. Further languages such as German, French or Spanish are an asset
