Trial Data Manager

Hobson Prior is seeking a Trial Data Manager for a contract role in Switzerland. This position involves managing data for clinical trials, ensuring consistency, and meeting study timelines. The role requires working on-site with some flexibility for remote work.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage data for clinical trials and ensure consistency.
  2. Lead data management activities for assigned studies.
  3. Provide input for study protocols.
  4. Coordinate the development of electronic case report forms (eCRF).
  5. Write data management documents for external data transfer and data cleaning.
  6. Monitor and track data entry screens, data cleaning tools, and their implementation.
  7. Oversee data cleaning, review, query management, and database lock processes.
  8. Generate study metrics and status reports.
  9. Represent data management in clinical trial team meetings.
  10. Manage data management activities for outsourced studies.
  11. Prepare and archive study documentation.
  12. Present study-related topics at meetings.
  13. Participate in the development and review of policies and procedures.
  14. Represent data management in cross-functional working groups.
  15. Forecast study team resource requirements.
  16. Ensure data managers have required training.
  17. Ensure Study Data Tabulation Model (SDTM) deliverables are created and validated.
  18. Perform quality control checks to verify data handling according to protocols.
  19. Act as data manager for studies without an assigned data manager.
Key Skills and Requirements:
  1. Experience in clinical research or clinical studies.
  2. Ability to lead and switch between different studies.
  3. Strong organizational and monitoring skills.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively with clinical development stakeholders.
  5. Experience with cardiovascular studies is a plus.
  6. Ability to stay calm in hectic situations.
