To realize our ambitions in the IKEA Supply Strategy, IKEA has identified the need to enhance and modernize our way of working. We are establishing a digital foundation of information and accelerate data management and analytics capabilities for real-time insights leading to even better and faster decisions.

As a Data Product Leader, you will support the organization in leveraging information and data assets for maximum value. You will play a central role in ensuring high-quality data products are available to consume. This involves managing data assets as data products that can be easily consumed by the rest of the organization, continuously adding and improving data sources.

A Data Product Leader will be responsible for overseeing the development and management of data-related products and services within a Product Area.

More specifically, in this role you will be accountable for:

  • Leading an analytics team by securing competent and high-performing teams.
  • Coordinating & managing teams (Onshore/Offshore).
  • Organizing the E2E OFP teams (IKEA and consultants) and processes to optimize value creation.
  • Defining and delivering the Analytics management vision, principles, and guidelines.
  • Creating and maintaining a roadmap for data product development, prioritizing features based on customer needs.
  • Planning and executing product launches, coordinating with all relevant teams.
  • Gathering feedback from users and stakeholders for product enhancement.
  • Driving continuous improvement, collaboration, and knowledge sharing around the data assets you lead.
  • Ensuring quality, integrity, compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging data technologies and trends.

Overall, the Data Product Manager plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical data teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that data products meet business needs and contribute to IKEA’s overall success.

To be successful in this role, we believe you are a strong manager who can effectively communicate, collaborate, and build relationships across a complex organization. You should be passionate about creating value from data and analytics and enjoy working closely with the business to identify opportunities.

You are expected to have very good knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA analytics solutions, data integration across platforms, and a solid experience in managing analytics solutions in supply chain environments. Ideally, you have had exposure to building and managing global analytics communities and embracing agile practices.
