Position ID: 7303‑25508Seniority level: InternshipEmployment type: Full‑timeJob function: Research, Analyst, Information TechnologyIndustries: Research Services Responsibilities Carry out research on the theory of angle‑resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) Implement new methods and improve open‑source scientific software used in the group Perform first‑principles simulations of ARPES for materials relevant to orbitronics Identify fingerprints of orbital angular momentum Identify promising materials for orbitronics applications Collaborate with experimental groups Support research and teaching activities generally Profile A PhD degree in Physics or a closely related field A strong background in theoretical condensed‑matter physics or related disciplines Basic knowledge of photoemission spectroscopy or related techniques Theoretical and practical knowledge of first‑principles simulations based on DFT Good programming skills in Fortran and Python Good command of English and excellent communication skills The ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with both theoretical and experimental partners Offer We offer a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment with systematic on‑the‑job training, personal development possibilities, and a pronounced vocational training culture.
