## Your tasks ## * Carry out research theory of angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy ARPES * Implement new methods in and improve open-source scientific software in the group * Perform first-principles simulations of ARPES for materials relevant to orbitronics * Identify fingerprints of orbital angular momentum * Identify promising materials for orbitronics applications * Collaboration with experimental groups * Support research and teaching activities generally ## Your profile ## * A PhD degree in Physics or a closely related field * A strong background in theoretical condensed matter physics or related disciplines * Basic knowledge photoemission spectroscopy or related techniques * Theoretical and practical knowledge of first-principles simulations of materials based on DFT * Good programming skills in Fortran and Python * Good command of English and excellent communication skills * The ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with both theoretical and experimental partners is essential ## We offer ## Our institution is based on an interdisciplinary, innovative and dynamic collaboration.
