Our client is a private foundation.

Job Description

  • Manage administrative tasks for grant-making, including payments and documents.
  • Provide support to staff and Trustees throughout the grant process.
  • Prepare payments for grants and offices, completing necessary checklists.
  • Draft grant letters, ensuring all required documentation is included and checklists are completed.
  • Process staff and Trustee discretionary grants.
  • Respond to inquiries and support requests from staff and Trustees.
  • Perform reconciliations and generate reports.
  • Manage filing and document administration.
  • Produce support letters and documentation as needed.
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring further consideration or approvals.
  • Conduct checks and complete checklists.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as requested by the Head of Grant Administration and Treasury or the Director of Operations.

The Successful Applicant

  • University degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant administrative experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with CRM, database, and grant management software is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of banking processes and international payments is highly desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in written and oral communication.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks seamlessly.
  • Ability to work independently and as a resourceful team player under pressure and within deadlines.
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Experience in foundations, not-for-profit organizations, or the private sector is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are an asset.
