Position: VMware Expert - System Administrator

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Work Mode: Hybrid

Occupancy Rate: 100%

Job Purpose:

  • All-rounder hands-on tasks that include escalated support assistance, interacting with internal clients, ensuring data security, maintaining physical and virtual server infrastructure, and ongoing performance tuning on prod/preprod/validation/integration environments.
  • 24/7 third-level support on Windows servers, Redhat servers, and VMware infrastructure on the production environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support of VMware infrastructure running on Prod/Preprod/Validation and Integration.
  • Support of future VMware Enterprise Edge infrastructure running on Prod and Preprod.
  • Support of RedHat and Windows servers.
  • Support of storage and backup infrastructure.
  • Automation of recurring tasks.
  • Creation of base images for Redhat and Windows servers.
  • Understand existing technical environment, systems, processes, and tools.
  • Troubleshooting, incident management (recovery, repair), and daily monitoring of existing systems.
  • Creation/update of documentation and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in virtualized infrastructure running under VMware.
  • Expertise in Linux Redhat and Windows servers.
  • Extensive experience with infrastructure management and monitoring.
  • Expertise in backup infrastructure running under Veeam.
  • Datacenter experience, with both virtual and bare metal hosts.
  • Experience with tools: Jira, Confluence.
