We are hiring a SQL/ PostgreSQL Database Administrator (M/F) for a renowned Swiss organization based in Geneva.

Tasks
  • Designing and implementing database solutions: Work within an organization to understand their needs and design solutions to meet those needs.
  • Monitoring and maintaining databases.
  • Ensuring IT security: Responsible for implementing security measures to protect the organization’s data.
  • Collaborating with other IT teams.
  • Third level support on Windows servers.
  • Third level support for end users.
  • Maintenance of SQL service and infrastructure.
  • Maintenance of other database services including PostgreSQL and Oracle.
  • Understand existing technical environment, systems, processes, and tools.
  • Troubleshooting, incident management (recovery, repair), daily monitoring of databases.
  • Support assistance and interaction with internal clients, ensuring data security, maintaining physical and virtual server infrastructure, backup infrastructure, and ongoing performance tuning.
Requirements
  • Expertise in SQL server (cluster infrastructure).
  • Expertise in PostgreSQL server (cluster infrastructure).
  • Expertise in Oracle server (cluster infrastructure).
  • Expertise in operating system configuration, management, and deployment focused on Windows Server and RHEL.
  • Experience in virtualized infrastructure (VMware).

Our recruitment process:

We have a 4-step recruitment process at Enova:

  1. A first interview by video conference TEAMS, to get to know each other, check your soft and hard skills and understand more about Enova and our activities.
  2. If you are shortlisted, the second interview is also by video conference or face-to-face to meet other people, generally the manager managing the client business relations and learn more about the collaboration.
  3. After gathering all the information for an Enova-consultant collaboration, we organize a meeting and/or a technical interview with the client technical team.
  4. If we see each other working together in an Enova collaboration, we present you during a last interview the contract that we want to propose, ideally in our office.

During this recruitment process, we communicate by phone and by mail and we can invite you to meet our teams in our office or the client's team. For the technical positions and opportunities at Enova, we want to focus your attention on the importance of the technical online test we send you to evaluate your level on your programming skills.
