Financial (RRP) Reporting Senior Analyst

Regulatory Reporting team within Finance is responsible for preparation of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual returns to Central Banks and other policymakers. The reporting requirements are spread across Financial, Statistical, and Prudential regimes.

What you’ll do:

  1. Support the preparation, analysis, and submission of reports to various constituencies (National / central regulators like Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) etc) based on requirements such as IFRS, UK GAAP, Basel.
  2. Participate and support the US & UK Recovery & Resolution templates preparation & submission.
  3. Perform analysis of financial results and conclude cause of variances such as accounting issues and economic events.
  4. Participate in efficiency and innovation projects on ad hoc basis by reviewing and developing current processes using advanced digitalization tools.
  5. Ongoing review and development of current processes to increase efficiency.
  6. Liaise with multiple departments of the covered countries (including Financial Control, Treasury, Risk and Technology departments) to resolve issues.
  7. Provide support to country Finance teams on an ad-hoc basis (e.g. audits, regulatory inquiries).
  8. Act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.

What we’ll need from you:

  1. 5+ years of work experience in financial, regulatory or risk reporting/auditing roles.
  2. Good understanding of Accounting & Finance principles and Financial Markets and products/Regulatory Reporting requirements.
  3. Excellent analytical skills, confident MS Excel knowledge.
  4. Knowledge of VBA, Python, Knime, SQL.
  5. University/College degree in finance/accounting.
  6. Knowledge about UK GAAP / IFRS is highly advantageous.
  7. Knowledge about Basel 3 is highly advantageous.
  8. Languages: English (mandatory).
