ABOUT THE TEAM

Located in our EMEA headquarters in Geneva (Switzerland), the Content team is part of the eCommerce department and manages the creation of all onsite & offsite content for Columbia & Sorel brands. The department includes 16 people and is split into 3 teams: Marketing (Acquisition & Conversion), Content, and Buying.

The Content team's goal is to communicate to our consumers and visitors our brand values, as well as the seasonal initiatives by providing the best onsite experience across all other channels, for 2 brands, in 10 countries, and in 5 different languages.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Are you passionate about designing captivating online experiences that resonate with users and drive engagement? As a Web Designer for our eCommerce team, you’ll play a key role in shaping how customers experience our brands—Columbia and Sorel—across our websites. Collaborating closely with the Web Design team, you’ll bring your creative vision, technical expertise, and user-focused mindset to deliver visually stunning and high-performing digital content, by following the Brand guidelines.

This is a temporary position (maternity cover) until the end of 2025, with an ideal start date in March.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

  • Design & Creativity: You’ll create engaging banners, content pages, newsletters, and paid campaigns (both static and animated) that align with our brand identity and capture attention within seconds.
  • User-Centric Focus: By applying UX best practices, you’ll ensure that all content enhances the online shopping experience and meets consumer expectations.
  • Localization: Tailor designs for multiple markets by localizing content across four languages.
  • Innovation: Stay ahead of digital design trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and challenge briefs to propose optimized solutions aligned with user needs.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, retail and eCommerce, to deliver high-quality projects within tight deadlines.

YOU ARE

  • A creative thinker with a passion for designing intuitive and accessible digital experiences.
  • A problem solver with a proactive mindset, ready to challenge briefs and propose innovative, user-centered solutions.
  • A strong communicator, confident in collaborating with global teams and articulating ideas clearly in English.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of balancing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.

YOU HAVE

  • At least 3 years of proven experience in web design (digital campaigns, banner and newsletter creation).
  • Strong UX understanding or a keen interest in putting the user first.
  • Technical expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and familiarity with tools like Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and CMS platforms.
  • A robust portfolio showcasing your creativity, technical skills, and attention to detail.
