We are looking for a Project Buyer to join our CT_Polymer & Crystallization team in Switzerland. The role will include managing the procurement process end-to-end by sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods or services to meet the organization's needs efficiently and cost-effectively, with regard to both internal and external projects, coordinating proactively with other functions. Your main tasks and responsibilities: Manage all procurement activities in several concurrent projects (internal and external). Develop project procurement strategy to support project requirements. Define supplier lists based on preferred suppliers, project specifications and market conditions. Manage the RFx process and lead selection and award recommendation process within the project team. Negotiate contracts with awarded vendors in terms of commercial conditions and T&C (with legal dept). Monitor supplier performance in terms of costs, quality and delivery times. Issue and keep the purchase orders updated in SAP and other company systems.
