Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our financial operations in Pully at 100%. The Junior Accountant will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, and maintaining accurate records. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn and grow within the accounting field.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
  2. Reconcile bank statements and other accounts.
  3. Process accounts payable transactions.
  4. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  5. Support the preparation of tax filings and compliance documentation.
  6. Respond to internal and external financial inquiries.
  7. Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes.

Requirements

  1. Internship or prior 1-2 years experience in an accounting-related role in Switzerland.
  2. Understanding of accounting principles and practices – Swiss CO or/and GAAP
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Dynamics BC 365 is a strong asset).
  4. Fluent in English and French (German is a strong asset)
  5. Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  7. Strong analytical and organizational skills.
