Job Description:

Our client is a prominent not-for-profit organization. Manage and execute all payroll procedures for the organization. Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates. Prepare and submit reports on payroll operations to the management. Maintain compliance with all local and federal laws and regulations related to payroll. Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions. Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data. Participate in payroll audits and provide recommendations for process improvements. Stay current with changes in payroll and tax laws.

Minimum Requirements:

A successful 'Payroll Accountant' should have:

  1. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  2. Strong problem-solving abilities
  3. Proficiency in English language, knowledge of another language will be a plus
  4. Strong knowledge of payroll software and systems
  5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
