Technical Sales Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our team in Zug, Switzerland.The ideal candidate must be able to provide innovative solutions to meet and exceed customer expectations, with a strong customer focus and outstanding sales skills.Key Responsibilities & AuthoritiesDocument all inquiries received from clients.Ensure new inquiries are assigned to the proper project number.Obtain approval to bid or decline.Prepare cost estimates and propose project prices.Prepare technical proposals and submit them to the territory director.Prepare bid bond requirements.Coordinate with other departments during bidding or prequalification stages, ensuring mobilization and demobilization are properly identified and understood.Coordinate with Finance to develop project cost estimates.Request Operations to conduct site surveys when appropriate.Update customer information and manage inquiries through the corporate EMS: create inquiries timely, follow the sales flow chart, transfer projects after order confirmation, update forecasts monthly, and regularly update project status.Prepare cost estimate reports.Provide reports to VP, country manager, and sales manager as needed.Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the territory VP and sales manager.Communicate all inquiries to the territory Vice President/country manager.Ensure tender documents are thoroughly reviewed for client requirements and scope of service.Identify and submit all project risks for review.Respond to inquiries promptly.Ensure complete bids are submitted on or before deadlines.Transfer projects within 2 days of client confirmation.Achieve sales targets.Maintain good customer relationships.Skills/ExperienceBS degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience with commercial skills.Additional qualifications or courses in commercial activities are preferred.Proficiency in English is essential.Good communication and presentation skills.Knowledge of Microsoft Office, CRM, ERP is advantageous.Solid technical knowledge of ILI products and industry standards.Experience in the Oil and Gas sector or service project-based companies.Minimum 1 year experience in commercial and technical tender preparation.Physical and Mental RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to walk, climb, and access various environments, including elevated platforms.Effective communication skills.Ability to multitask and focus.Wearing safety equipment as required.Sufficient mobility and reflexes to perform duties and travel as needed.About PIPECARE GroupPIPECARE Group offers comprehensive In-Line Inspection Services to identify and size pipeline threats using advanced technologies such as Magnetic Flux Leakage, Transverse Field Inspection, Ultrasound, and specialized tools, ensuring precise detection of pipeline anomalies.What We DoWe provide In-Line Inspection Services to locate, identify, and size threats, supporting integrity management.
