About the role
The commercial team collaborates with both new and established globally recognised clients who share Monocle’s dedication to quality, craftsmanship, and storytelling. We are a driven team, focused on creating distinctive and effective multi-platform content that reflects Monocle’s ethos of excellence and global perspective.
The advertising account co-ordinator will work closely with our Zürich-based development and partnerships director, focusing on the Germany, Switzerland and Austria (GSA) region, while also providing support across the broader APAC region. The role will provide support across all aspects of the sales lifecycle and include market research and client outreach, preparation of sales kit materials and co-ordination of and contribution to client proposals.
You will also interact with our clients, agency partners and be an integral part of the commercial team. Critical to your success will be your passion for luxury and premium markets and your ambition to pursue a career in media sales.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
-Confident and articulate communication skills, in person and with a diverse range of stakeholders
-The ability to build rapport and nurture trusted relationships with colleagues, clients and agency partners
-The ability to independently undertake research, identify opportunities and contribute to generating new business
-Strong all-around organisational and documentation skills, including using the Google, Microsoft and Apple suites
-Fluency in English and German
