They are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join as a Portfolio Management and Risk Associate.

Role Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity for a junior professional or recent graduate with a strong academic background in economics or finance. As a Portfolio Management and Risk Associate, you will gain hands-on experience in trading support, risk analysis, portfolio reconciliations, and regulatory compliance. This role provides a clear pathway to a career as a Portfolio Manager or Risk Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the trading team by assisting with trade execution and monitoring.
  2. Conduct risk analysis and prepare monthly risk reports to ensure compliance with internal policies.
  3. Perform daily portfolio reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
  4. Contribute to the preparation of regulatory filings and compliance documentation.
  5. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  6. Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze data and produce insightful reports.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Previous internships or academic projects in investment management, commodities, or financial analysis are advantageous.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  4. Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with VBA or other programming tools is a plus.
  5. Eager to learn and develop within the portfolio management or risk discipline.
  6. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
