Your role

  • Responsible for the dealing of funds (mainly mutual funds, hedge funds and private equities) as well as the post trade activities (corporate event management, pricing, reconciliation, amongst other tasks)

  • Troubleshooting activities on the end-to-end transaction management lifecycle. (All sort of assets, plain vanilla, derivatives, AIFs, etc.)

  • Actively engage in new project / UAT testing to enhance our process and objective of optimizing automation

  • Partner with Robotics team to help identify and deliver technology improvement opportunities

  • Ensures the escalation of operational, regulatory, and other risks to line manager and functional leads as appropriate

  • Applies Ops/TDI/Business strategies and objectives across product and business lines within all internal and external policies/guidelines and requirements of the regulators and to agreed SLAs

  • Builds and maintains relationships with internal stakeholders - Product Desks, Relationship Center, COO, Compliance, AML, ORM, Technology, as well as with Service Providers

Experience / Exposure

  • Relevant experience in a similar role within the global custody realm, as part of a Back/Middle/Front office and in a leading financial institution

  • Working knowledge of Avaloq will be considered a plus

  • Working knowledge of the Bank’s products and services as well as a firm understanding of regulations and policies

  • Operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines

  • Solid knowledge of global custody, global markets, funds transfer, settlement, and trade lifecycle

  • Problem-solving skills and analytical skills

  • Strong time management skills required to meet internal and external deadlines/cut-offs

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with different teams cutting across variable functions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills (only English is required but any additional language will be considered an advantage)

  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity towards internal and external stakeholders, strong work ethics overall
