Your role
Are you motivated to deliver exceptional services to our clients? Do you feel comfortable approaching and working with different people?
We are looking for a Senior Event Marketing Specialist on a 12 month fixed-term contract to:
- be responsible as project manager for planning, organizing and executing events
- interact and coordinate with stakeholders, internal and external clients and suppliers
- secure venues, hotel rooms, limousine transfers and flights
- ensure seamless event logistics
- enter new projects in UBS's own project management software
- overlook the invitation process including creation of invitations
- follow-up procedures including billing process and budget management
- organize virtual and physical meetings and events
- provide onsite support of various events and roadshows
- post event evaluation
Your team
You’ll be working with other Event Marketing Specialists for the UBS Investment Bank Switzerland in Opfikon as well as our global offices. We are responsible for client events and conferences as well as for company roadshows which we organize and adapt depending on business needs due to the current market environment. Our aim is to ensure that we deliver the optimum service around logistics and communication to our external and internal clients, allowing our clients to concentrate their time and energy on the business meetings.
Your expertise
• strong project management and organizational skills while handling multiple projects at the same time
• excellent interpersonal skills
• an autonomous, diligent and detail-oriented work style
• several years of experience in event planning or related roles
• good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
• excellent German and English (written and oral)
• proficiency in event management software and tools
• a good command of Microsoft Office and some experience with virtual platforms (eg Zoom, Webex, MS Teams)
