Job Description Summary

The IT Site Business Partner / Business Analyst for Operations to be based in Schweizerhalle represents the IT function, IT strategy and technology roadmap at the site, captures IT demand, collaborates with IT functions, and supports the implementation of digital strategies at the ChemOps Schweizerhalle and Biological Drug Substance Supply (BDSS) site in Klybeck, Basel. The role contributes to the product roadmap, supports global rollouts and change management, and works with the Schweizerhalle and BDSS DDIT OPS IT team. The role leads IT projects, gathers requirements, creates demand, and prioritizes IT projects and features. Additionally, it ensures adherence to Good Manufacturing (GMP) and Information Security and Compliance (ISC) standards.

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Drive innovation in tech-driven business capabilities and processes, leading conversations with a consulting mindset.
  2. Partner with Business to drive Data and Digital Programs, co-owning transformation outcomes.
  3. Measure and drive business value of Operations Data and Digital Programs.
  4. Improve the 'ease of engagement' with IT.
  5. Serve as a key business partner for ChemOps Switzerland and BDSS. Own the technology roadmap, handle escalations and key decisions and ensure business continuity.
  6. Ensure adherence to Security & Compliance policies for Operations IT systems at the Schweizerhalle and BDSS sites.
  7. Represent the sites in audits and inspections.

Role Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  2. Track record of interactions with senior management and leveraging digital technology/big data.
  3. Strong relationship management skills.
  4. Project management and change management experience.
  5. Fluency in English and German.
  6. 8+ years in regulated manufacturing environment or IT global industry.
  7. Ability to work and lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
  8. Experience collaborating across boundaries and influencing without authority.
  9. Proven track record in delivering global digital plant solutions.
