Join our team as Director, Revenue Management and Reservations Sales, and become one of the authors of our story. You will be responsible for the development and execution of revenue strategies that achieve optimal top-line revenue, enhanced profitability, and gained market share for the best luxury property in Geneva: The Woodward.

The Director, Revenue Management and Reservations Sales will provide leadership, identify statistically relevant trends, and create recommendations to the hotel Sales & Marketing and Executive teams in the areas of pricing, distribution channel strategy, and Reservation Sales for this all-suite property.

The Reservations Sales focus includes call quality and conversion, up-selling, outbound revenue generation, and the cross-selling of ancillary experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Work collaboratively with the property revenue generation team to analyze report metrics and implement an effective revenue strategy.
  2. Creation and execution of a luxury pricing strategy by suite type.
  3. Utilize transient KPI reports to identify booking trends.
  4. Deep understanding of the hotel's defined competitive set(s) as well as the property positioning within the respective set(s).
  5. Work with a digital marketing team to develop an on-going marketing plan aimed at both long-term positioning as well as short-term need generation tactics.
  6. Lead weekly revenue strategy meetings to collaborate, influence decisions, and execute plans.
  7. Create day by day forecasts as needed.
  8. Work directly with the revenue generation team and key stakeholders to ensure ancillary revenue objectives are met.
  9. Effectively communicate challenges that arise in either property performance or processes and develop a plan to correct.
  10. Influence change and demonstrate a sense of accountability and command during all interactions with key stakeholders on property, regional and home office, as well as ownership.
  11. Create and execute an electronic distribution merchandising strategy for effective pricing, content, positioning, relationships, and marketing programs.
  12. Monitor all electronic distribution sites on a consistent basis to ensure all leisure rates and suite categories are loaded and bookable.
  13. Leverage Ideas RMS system to identify booking trends outside typical booking window and make necessary corrections.
  14. Produce daily, weekly, monthly reporting suite (pace, segmentation, channel, etc.) to make pricing decisions.
  15. Ensure the Reservations Sales Team maintains hotel call quality and brand standards.
  16. Oversee training and onboarding of Reservation Sales agents.
  17. Achieve monthly individual & team conversion and revenue goals.
  18. Ensure the team pursues and converts outbound revenue opportunities through our lead management system.
  19. Attend & lead bi-monthly calls with Revinate leadership to ensure optimizing use of the Reservations Sales system.

Minimum Requirements

  • Based in Geneva, Switzerland.
  • Minimum 5 years of luxury hotel leadership experience in Revenue Management and Reservations Sales.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
  • Well-versed in revenue management & distribution technologies (PMS, RMS, CRS).
  • Growth mindset and positive competitive spirit.
  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in email, document, spreadsheet, and presentation software, as well as an aptitude for learning new systems quickly.
  • Ability to adapt and re-prioritize highest impact tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Maintain a professional and positive presentation, providing exceptional customer service in guest-facing communication.
