To strengthen our international marketing team and to support the Team Lead Digital Business with creative marketing communication developments at our headquarters in Basel, Switzerland.

In your day-to-day work, you will be working closely with our brand managers, designers, and other key stakeholders. You will not only be contributing to our ambitious digital transformation roadmap but also drive and implement the company's global strategy and vision for brands such as AVO Cigars and Camacho Cigars. With execution against the objectives set by the global marketing division, you will transform marketing campaigns into tailored content in state-of-the-art quality.

Responsibilities

  • Creating visual concepts for digital and print communications according to campaign briefing, working closely with the brand and digital business team.
  • Developing design drafts, designing graphic elements and layouts in digital and analogue media for campaigns, finalising them for a target medium and channel (B2C, B2B) and ensuring CI/CD and campaign concepts are adhered to.
  • Ensuring a coherent functionality, layout, content, tone of voice, design and compliance according to campaign planning and ensuring CI/CD and campaign concepts are adhered to.
  • Animating, designing, and illustrating compelling motion graphics for web and social media audiences.
  • Uploading and organising assets in the digital asset management system according to guidelines.
  • Contributing to an interdisciplinary team of designers, business and brand strategists, ensuring that design specifications are implemented globally.
  • Staying up-to-date and generating new ideas to draw audience's attention.

Qualifications

You are an expert in digital asset production with a record of proficient work experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and motion graphics. In your daily work, you are creative, flexible, pragmatic, analytic, hands-on, and above all, result-focused. You are a motivated, highly organised, conscientious team player who performs well under pressure and who shows a genuine interest in premium products. Additionally, you can offer:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a design-related discipline or completed apprenticeship.
  • 3+ years in-depth design experience of pictures, with an emphasis on motion graphics for B2B and B2C applications, preferably e-commerce, e-learning, rich web apps/sites, mobile devices.
  • Knowledge of web-based technologies and their impact on the feasibility of design solutions, including the capabilities and limitations of social media platforms.
  • Strong ability to quickly familiarise oneself with brand strategies, identities and visual appearances and being able to translate them into clear ideas, concepts, and designs of creative assets from beginning to end.
  • Ability to manage constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • Work experience in a cross-functional team.
  • A keen eye for aesthetics, details and accuracy.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; German is highly desirable, French is a plus.
  • A background in working within a highly regulated environment with a sensitivity to comply with data protection regulations is a plus.
  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates creative graphic design skills and thinking.
