Postdoctoral Researcher or Senior Scientist in Digital Bioprocessing

Your tasks
- Establish a novel platform for the use of Raman spectroscopy in bioprocesses, in close collaboration with industrial partners.
- Run bioprocesses to collect meaningful data for subsequent calibration and control model design.
- Apply various analytical techniques to generate data, and subsequently use this data for model building and implementation.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and propose creative solutions to improve experimental and automation protocols.
- Present research findings through internal reports, scientific publications, and presentations at international conferences.
The contract is limited until the 31.08.
Your profile
- Recent PhD graduate or currently a PostDoc in a quantitative field such as (bio)chemical engineering, process engineering, biotechnology, bioinformatics, data science or similar.
- Highly motivated with a passion for applied scientific research and technical innovation.
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools.
- Experience in programming languages commonly used in data analysis such as Python, R or Matlab.
- Experience in wet-lab fermentation / bioprocessing techniques is desirable, but not a must.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an international team environment and engage in cross-functional projects with several industrial partners.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills in English are mandatory.
