Senior PreSales Solution Architect My client is looking for a Senior PreSales Solution Architect to be the key technical partner for their strategic pharma and biotech customers. You’ll sit at the intersection of science, data, and commercial teams, helping R&D organisations design and scale data & AI solutions that actually get used – and deliver measurable value. What You’ll Do Act as the primary technical point of contact for strategic Life Sciences accounts Understand each customer’s scientific data, AI architecture, and roadmap Translate business goals into scalable technical architectures and implementation plans Lead lifecycle engagement from presales through delivery and ongoing optimisation Run technical reviews, spot risks early, and recommend improvements Support expansions, POCs, and co-innovation with Sales and Product Deliver tailored demos and enablement sessions to scientists, R&D IT, and leadership Work with partners such as Databricks, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure to maximise value Impact for customers Better stability, uptime, and scalability Roadmap alignment and prioritised support What You Bring Background Scientific background and 5+ years’ experience in Life Sciences (pharma, biotech, CRO, etc.) 5+ years as a Senior Technical / Solutions / Data Architect/ Field Applications Specialist Experience with R&D IT, Data & Informatics, or scientific data platforms Technical Python and cloud databases: Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, NoSQL Big data / lakehouse tools (e.g. Spark) Data governance & quality (lineage, metadata, data quality processes) Analytics & BI: Tableau, Power BI, QlikView and their backend needs Commercial & Soft Skills Comfortable with senior scientific and technical stakeholders Strong at solution mapping, value/ROI framing, and negotiation Clear communicator, confident presenter, strong relationship builder Interested?
