Join Axpo as a Senior Trader of carbon certificates in the rapidly evolving emissions market. Take financial proprietary positions and help to develop analytical models. What you will do: Take proprietary trading positions in carbon certificates or related commodities/products. Work closely with our analysts, fostering knowledge transfer, developing in-house models and enhancing fundamental market forecasting. Stay informed about regulatory developments and industry best practices to ensure compliance and drive innovation in carbon trading practices. Provide market access to other desks for hedging purposes. Discuss and share views with our other related trading desks (power, gas, petroleum, etc.) What you bring & who you are: Master’s or PhD in business or natural sciences. Several years of experience in trading EUAs and/or UKAs within a trading house, fund, or utility. Proven track record of strong PnL performance. Willing and able to work in an international context. Excellent communication skills and a fundamental trading approach. About the team: You’ll be part of a collaborative and results-driven trading team at Axpo, working at the forefront of climate certificate markets.
