Lead fraud prevention and investigation

We are searching for an experienced Lead fraud prevention and investigation at our MSC Geneva - Geneva facility. 

Under the supervision of the Chief Internal Audit, you are in charge of the following activities:

Fraud Investigations

  • Second the Chief Internal Audit Officer in the responsibility to lead and monitor internal fraud related investigations work throughout the MSC Group.
  • Through the MSC Speak Up Line and other ethics and anti-fraud reporting line, you will play a key role in fraud-fighting, heading investigations, with the following responsibilities:
  • Examine records for fraud, investigate employee theft, corruption, conflicts of interest and other types of misconduct ,
  • Analy s e data, transactions, financial statements, examine documents and other records for signs of fraud ,
  • Interview witnesses and targets ,
  • work closely with involved functions such as Compliance, Litigation, Finance, etc.
  • Prepare fraud risk assessments to review controls effectiveness for fighting fraud within concerned function.
  • Participate to the enhancement of the Group internal control system. Analyse fraud trends (including schemes), and internal control failures uncovered to develop and enhance Group fraud prevention program.
  • Build and share training material (fraud awareness) with management and during anti-fraud workshops throughout the Group.
  • Consolidate and grow the fraud risk culture and the investigation techniques among the colleagues of the internal audit Department. Coordinate and guide Internal Audit team for integrating controls within the audit work programs dedicated to fraud detection. 
  • Write reports and present investigation findings (with recommendations) to Group Management and Key Stakeholders.

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • 5 years experience as internal and/or external auditor
  • Between 3-5 years of experience in in managing sensitive and complex investigationsinternationally
  • Professional qualification such as CertifiedFraud Examiner (CFE) is an advantage
  • Fluent in English and at least one additional language (German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese)
  • Willingness to travel

  • 5 years experience as internal and/or external auditor

  • Data analytics skills
  • Fluent in English and at least one additional language (German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese)
  • Willingness to travel
