Our Research Center
With 28 sites across Europe and 2000 researchers, Huawei’s European Research Institute (ERI) oversees fundamental and applied technology research, academic research cooperation projects, and strategic technical planning across our network of European R&D facilities. Huawei’s ERI includes the Zurich Research Center (ZRC), located in Zurich, Switzerland. We have recently expanded our Research activities to Lausanne.
Our Research Centers in Switzerland focus on fundamental and applied technology research as well as academic research cooperation projects.
In the framework of our expansion in Switzerland, we are looking for a (Senior) Talent Acquisition Partner to be based in Zurich.
As a key member of our multicultural HR team, you will partner with a wide range of stakeholders and provide solutions in alignment with the company growth plans.
Your Responsibilities
- Partner with key stakeholders to understand business needs, identify opportunities for improvement and generate results.
- Design and implement talent acquisition strategies in line with the business objectives, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Manage the end-to-end talent acquisition cycle (attract, source, select and offer) for highly specialized and hard-to-fill technology roles.
- Leverage data to influence stakeholders.
- Identify and leverage all available sourcing channels to drive the acquisition of top talent.
- Build and maintain a strong network of industry professionals and potential candidates for hard-to-fill positions.
- Act as a Talent Advisor, providing guidance and recommendations to Hiring Managers on best practices for attracting and selecting candidates.
- Contribute to and lead Recruitment projects and HR initiatives.
Your background
- Bachelor or Master degree in Human Resources Management or any other relevant field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or similar role, preferably in technology, research or academia.
- Solid track record of delivering on hard-to-fill positions.
- Strong understanding of the challenges and the complexities involved in recruiting for hard-to-fill positions.
- Excellent talent mapping and direct sourcing/research skills.
- Intellectual curiosity, a strong growth mindset and the desire to constantly improve.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the business, including executives and senior leaders.
- High level of adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written. Fluency in French is a strong plus.
- Eagerness to work in a multicultural environment.
- Familiarity with Technology products and trends is a plus.
