Define system requirements and specifications together with stakeholders from product management, architecture, and project leadership. Translate requirements into actionable features for globally distributed development teams, ensuring smooth communication and efficient delivery. Mentor and support development teams in architectural best practices, design patterns, and quality standards through code reviews, design workshops, and technical guidance. Contribute to architectural documentation, technical decision records (ADRs), and stakeholder presentations. Your talents and experience Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable. Proven track record in software architecture and development. Deep expertise in cloud‑native development, infrastructure as code and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP), with hands‑on mindset. Solid understanding of IoT edge devices, device management principles, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, OPC UA). Ability to balance long‑term architectural goals with short‑term delivery needs, making pragmatic, value‑driven decisions. Experience working in agile, cross‑functional environments; ability to mentor and coach developers and architects alike. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of facilitating technical discussions and decision‑making across diverse teams. Business‑fluent in English; German is a strong advantage in our working environment.
