Job Description

Key Account Manager at CHEP is developing trust relationships with a portfolio of national and international customers with a primary focus on delivering best-class customer care and expanding our market share.

Your Responsibilities:
  1. Identify potential opportunities for business expansion and strengthen the relationships with existing customers.
  2. Proactive analysis of internal KPIs to ensure quality of provided service and avoid potential risk of pallet loss.
  3. Manage activities to meet budget targets.
  4. Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal stakeholders using key account metrics.
  5. Prepare and present regular KPIs reports for your customers.
  6. Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements to provide tailored supply chain solutions.
  7. Resolve any problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
  8. Regular invoice check and reconciliation, if necessary.
Our Requirements:
  1. High school diploma or University degree.
  2. Proven experience in key account management (experience in FMCG or retail is an advantage).
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
  4. Excellent organizational skills.
  5. The ability to handle multiple client accounts.
  6. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  7. Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines.
  8. Ability to use MS Office effectively.
  9. Knowledge of the local market players within manufacturing and retail sectors is an advantage.
  10. Knowledge of current local supply chain solutions and providers would be taken as an advantage.
  11. Languages: fluent German and English are a must; French and/or Italian are a nice to have.
