ServiceNow CMDB and ITOM Expert

For one of our Clients, we are looking for an experienced ServiceNow CMDB and ITOM Expert. This will be as a Consultant on an initial 6-month contract. Key Responsibilities Own and manage the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring alignment with ITIL and CSDM. Lead and enhance Discovery across on-prem, network, and cloud environments. Implement and maintain Service Mapping (Traffic-based, Tag-based, and Manual). Manage and configure MID Servers. Integrate CMDB data with ITSM processes (Incident/Change). Perform regular audits, reconciliations, and data quality improvements. Produce CMDB reports and insights for stakeholders. Partner with IT teams and service owners to ensure the CMDB supports operational needs. Skills & Experience BSc in Computer Science, IT or related field. 6+ years’ hands‑on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping. Strong understanding of CSDM and CMDB data modelling. Proficient in Discovery Patterns, Service Graph Connectors, IRE, and platform configuration. Good knowledge of networking protocols and Windows/Linux/cloud infrastructure. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
